●Full-Time Anesthesiologist – Sierra Vista, AZ $550,000 Annualized for 26 full weeks | Level III Trauma Center and Teaching Facility We are seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Anesthesiologist to join the anesthesia team at Canyon Vista Medical Center in Sierra Vista, Arizona. This role follows a 26-week schedule (two weeks on / two weeks off) and operates within a collaborative anesthesia care model that includes both supervision and the ability to perform your own cases. The facility is a Level III Trauma and teaching hospital with a diverse case mix and a supportive perioperative environment. We are specifically seeking a physician who is CRNA-supportive, team-oriented, and committed to mentoring, collaborating with, and advocating for CRNAs as integral members of the care team. Compensation:
●$550,000 for 26 full weeks – all inclusive
●On-weeks include nightly call coverage; when a CRNA is available to take primary call, the anesthesiologist will rotate into backup call (Additional weeks may be available based on staffing needs.) About the Facility: This hospital is a 93-bed, Level III Trauma and teaching facility featuring 4 operating rooms and 1 endoscopy suite. The organization provides a broad range of surgical and emergency services and supports a collaborative practice environment across anesthesia and surgical teams. Schedule and Call Expectations: This position follows a Monday through Friday OR schedule with standard 10-hour operating days. Coverage is part of a two-weeks-on / two-weeks-off rotation, with call responsibilities included throughout the working block. Case Mix and Practice Model: The caseload includes General Surgery, Orthopedics, OB, GI, Trauma, Endo, Podiatry, and GYN. As a Level III Trauma and teaching hospital, the facility maintains readiness for emergent and trauma-related anesthesia services while supporting a collaborative, team-based practice model that allows physicians to both supervise and perform their own cases.
