BridgeCare is seeking a Board-Certified Anesthesiologist to join a busy and well-established anesthesia team in Riverside, VA. This position offers a stable Monday–Friday schedule with a mix of 10- and 12-hour shifts, manageable call responsibilities, and a broad, rewarding case mix. Position Highlights Full-time | 50-hour work week Shift Structure: Monday–Friday: 10-hour & 12-hour shifts Occasional overtime Model: Physician-led team; 3:1 supervision model (preferred)
| Credentialing | 60–90 days Call Requirements Weeknight Call: 3rd Call — MD call shift, 7pm–7am Weekend Call: Saturday & Sunday In-house: 7am–7pm 3rd Call: 7pm–7am Case Mix A diverse and engaging set of cases, including: OB, Orthopedics, Neuro Interventional, Vascular & Trauma, GI, GU, GYN, Thoracic, CVIR MRI, Endoscopy, Acute Care Surgery, (Minimal Pediatrics) OB: 2 ORs Main OR: 15 ORs CVIR / Specials: 2 rooms MRI / CT: 1 room Endoscopy: 3 rooms Bronchoscopy: 1 room Requirements Board Certification (Required) Unrestricted Virginia medical license (or ability to obtain) Comfort working in a busy supervised environment Strong communication & collaborative skills Why Newport News, VA?
