Wahlen VA Medical Center in Salt Lake City is a 121-bed high-complexity hospital seeking a skilled, mission driven CRNA to join our Anesthesia Care Team. This role is ideal for CRNAs who value teamwork, complex clinical practice, and the long-term stability of federal service. Why join the VA Salt Lake City Anesthesia Team: Team-based Model: We practice in a collaborative anesthesia care team. Our model emphasizes shared responsibility, physician support, and coordinated care for high-acuity Veterans. Consistent Schedule: Enjoy a 4x10 schedule with rotating weekdays off, giving you flexibility during the week to take care of life issues or just go up the canyon to ski for a day. This gives you flexibility during your week. There is only one facility we staff eliminating traveling to multiple locations. Home-Based Call: Weekend and after-hours call are taken from home. You are paid for being on call. Any hours worked beyond 40/week are compensated at time-and a-half increasing your base pay. Nights and weekend differentials apply. Compensation and Benefits Minimum income: $177,338 Maximum base income: $235,854 Federal Pension after 5 years of service (FERS) Thrift Savings Plan (401K plan) With up to 5% match 5 weeks of annual leave eligible on day one (must be accrued) 13 days of sick leave per year All Federal holidays paid Robust health, dental, vision, and life insurance options No malpractice insurance (TORT Law) DEA license covered by VA No billing, production pressure, or RVUs Credit for military and federal government service Practice Environment
