This is an excellent opportunity for Anesthesiologists to focus exclusively on outpatient surgical cases, with a consistent Monday-Friday schedule. Physicians will enjoy the autonomy of managing 100% of their own cases, providing a highly rewarding professional experience. Responsibilities
Provide and manage anesthesia for a variety of outpatient surgical procedures. Conduct thorough pre-operative patient evaluations and develop individualized anesthetic plans. Administer and monitor anesthesia safely and effectively, with full responsibility for the case. Manage patients in the post-anesthesia care unit (PACU). Maintain accurate and complete patient records. Adhere to all practice protocols and regulatory guidelines. Collaborate effectively with surgeons and other surgical team members to ensure optimal patient care.
Qualifications
Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree. Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology. Valid and unrestricted Illinois medical license (or eligible for licensure). Strong clinical skills in providing anesthesia for outpatient surgical cases. Benefits
The practice offers a highly competitive compensation package for full-time positions, ranging from $450,000 to $475,000 annually, commensurate with experience. Compensation and benefits for part-time positions will be pro-rated and are negotiable.
