We are seeking a well-trained Cardiac Anesthesiologists for our growing, community based practice in north Houston (Woodlands). We are a Houston-based, mid-sized private practice group with acute care and outpatient center staffing responsibilities. Our CV program is primarily based in 1 hospital where the ideal candidate would be primarily based. The ideal candidate would be versatile in cardiac, thoracic, vascular, structural heart/cath lab, and general anesthesiology techniques. The CV practice supports 2 excellent primary cardiovascular surgeons and a wonderful cardiology practice. This is a highly collaborative environment with high performing practitioners and emphasis on excellence in care. The CV practice in 2025 consisted of 175 pump cases (mostly coronary revascularization with some aortic and mitral valves) with occasional MCS (Impella, ECMO), ~1000 cath lab cases (100 TAVR/structural heart , 50 watchman, 25 TEVAR, 170 EP ablations, 500 TEE/cardioversions), plus routine general thoracic and vascular cases. TEE advanced credentials required. Comfort with DLTs, thoracic epidurals, and regional anesthesia techniques. 2 CV ORs (1 primary, 2nd available for simultaneous cases), 4 cath labs CV call is shared equally. Callbacks are rare.
