About the Practice
A well-established and reputable private practice in the Tulsa area, Oklahoma, is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Interventional Pain Management Physician to join the team. The practice is dedicated to providing comprehensive pain management services to patients and fosters a professional environment with potential for expansion in the region.
Opportunity
There is an immediate full-time Interventional Pain Management job opening for a board-certified or board-eligible physician with pain fellowship and anesthesia residency training. This role includes a partnership track within one (1) year. In addition to a strong focus on interventional procedures, one (1) day per week is dedicated to general anesthesia cases.
Responsibilities
Perform a wide range of interventional pain management procedures, including but not limited to epidural injections, nerve blocks, radiofrequency ablation, spinal cord stimulation trials and implants, and joint injections. Conduct thorough patient evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, and manage chronic and acute pain conditions. Provide general anesthesia services for surgical cases one (1) day per week. Maintain accurate and complete patient records in accordance with practice policies and procedures. Collaborate effectively with referring physicians, physical therapists, and other healthcare professionals. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to all safety protocols. Contribute to the growth and expansion of the practice.
Qualifications
Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree. Board certification or eligibility in Pain Management. Completion of an ACGME-accredited Pain Management Fellowship. Completion of an ACGME-accredited Anesthesia Residency. Current unrestricted medical license in Oklahoma (or eligibility for licensure). Current BLS and ACLS certifications. Strong clinical skills in both interventional pain management techniques and general anesthesia administration. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
