South Shore Hospital is a vibrant 374 bed community hospital and Level 2 trauma center providing excellent quality care through both our South Shore Health physician groups and through agreements with Boston’s teaching hospitals including surgeons from Brigham and Women’s Hospital, MEEI, Boston Children’s Hospital and Oncologic services through Dana Farber Cancer Institute. Our Department of Anesthesia is a diverse and collegial group of physicians who perform a case mix both by solo MD and CRNA supervision. Case mix includes vascular, ortho, general, gyn, thoracic, neuro, healthy peds, trauma and obstetric cases. An ideal candidate must have a deep understanding and concern for the emotional well-being of our patients undergoing surgery and their families. In addition, one must have the ability to work effectively with surgeons, CRNAs, SRNAs, nurses and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care. We are looking for well trained, enthusiastic, collegial, team-players to join our growing, dynamic hospital-based practice.
