The practice is committed to providing exceptional anesthesia services in an efficient outpatient surgical setting, emphasizing patient safety, autonomy, and a supportive professional environment.
Opportunity
This is an excellent opportunity for Anesthesiologists to focus exclusively on outpatient surgical cases, with a consistent Monday-Friday schedule. Cases include GI, Orthopedics, and small amount of peds. Physicians will enjoy the autonomy of managing 100% of their own cases, providing a highly rewarding professional experience. This position offers truly great hours and is designed as a great lifestyle position with no call, nights, or weekends.
Responsibilities
Provide and manage anesthesia for a variety of outpatient surgical procedures. Conduct thorough pre-operative patient evaluations and develop individualized anesthetic plans. Administer and monitor anesthesia safely and effectively, with full responsibility for the case. Manage patients in the post-anesthesia care unit (PACU). Maintain accurate and complete patient records. Adhere to all practice protocols and regulatory guidelines. Collaborate effectively with surgeons and other surgical team members to ensure optimal patient care.
Qualifications
Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree. Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology. Valid and unrestricted Illinois medical license (or eligible for licensure). Strong clinical skills in providing anesthesia for outpatient surgical cases. The practice offers a highly competitive compensation package for full-time positions, ranging from $350,000 annually, commensurate with experience. Compensation and benefits for part-time positions will be pro-rated and are negotiable.
