- ●A well-established and highly specialized private practice located in the Arlington area of Northern Virginia, within the desirable DC suburbs, is seeking skilled and dedicated Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) for part-time and full-time opportunities. This practice is exclusively focused on providing high-quality anesthesia services for orthopedic surgical cases in an efficient and patient-focused outpatient setting. Opportunity: This is an excellent opportunity for CRNAs to specialize in anesthesia for orthopedic cases. The position offers a highly desirable schedule with many days ending early, promoting an outstanding work-life balance. There is the added benefit of no call, nights, or weekends. Both part-time and full-time positions are available with flexible scheduling options. Student Registered Nurse Anesthetists (SRNAs) are welcome to apply and gain valuable experience in a specialized and efficient surgical environment. Responsibilities: Provide and manage anesthesia for a variety of orthopedic surgical and procedural cases. Conduct thorough pre-anesthetic patient assessments and develop individualized anesthetic plans. Administer and monitor anesthesia safely and effectively, adapting techniques to specific orthopedic surgical needs. Manage patients in the post-anesthesia care unit (PACU). Maintain accurate and complete patient records. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to all practice protocols. Collaborate effectively with orthopedic surgeons and other surgical team members. Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited School of Nurse Anesthesia. Current certification as a Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA). Valid and unrestricted Virginia RN license (or eligible for licensure). Strong clinical skills in providing anesthesia for orthopedic cases. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care.
